I currently am in the process of releasing my first ever Ruby gem (more on that later, wink wink), and while setting up the metadata for the rubygems.org page, I stumbled across the funding_uri field. Even though this is totally optional, I realized I had nothing to write down there...

To be completely honest, I don't have any plans for it; I don't really expect to make any money for anything I'm producing outside of my day job, be it the blog or the FOSS projects. But hey, it exists now.
